Vendordesk Domain

Your Vendordesk portal can run on two ‘kind’ of domains,

  • A subdomain on venderdesk.eu like https://yourcompany.vendordesk.eu
  • Your own domain like https://portal.yourcompany.com

By default your domain will be running on option 1

Using your own domain

To setup your own domain you need to do the following:

  • Make sure you have a domainname registered
  • Make sure you or your administrator has access to the DNS records
  • Add your domain to the Sales Channel in the backoffice of Vendordesk
    • In the main menu go to Sales/Sales Channels/Your Portal Name/Settings/B2B Portal/General/General Configuration
  • After saving the “Portal Url”, copy the “Portal Verification Key”
  • Go to your DNS (Domain Name Server) and add a new TXT record to your Domain name
    • Select record type TXT
    • Add the copied value to this record.
